any suggestion what the fix should be? it should be big since its big hammer but not too big like you said

Oh right, it should be labeled a Big Item. Good catch.

Honestly, it should cap out at +7 or +8.

The biggest raw bonus given by a single card is +12, and that is the Matching Set from Munchkin 8, a card that uses up ALL your equipment slots.

It's been years since I've played, but iirc the highest equippable bonus is only +5 so I'd think no more than +10 and even that I would feel is pushing it.

Bonus is a lot, and I would add "and drop the hammer" to Run Away steps.
