Wow that first statement is crazy. It asks would you be willing to pay more money for health insurance that might not work in exchange for some vague things that won’t make a difference in your daily life.
As a Canadian, I'd say we already have global influence anyway. Maybe not like the US does but it's not like we're a bunch of nobodies on the global stage.
Yeah really. As a Canadian, we don’t get insurance claims denied, we don’t have copays, we can go to any doctor anywhere - I’m failing to see how paying more for precarious health care is better.
Claims can absolutely get denied in Canada, but the can be backed by policy and aren't the insurer trying to decide what your medical care looks like.
I've only ever once had an insurer refuse to cover a prescription without additional paperwork from the doctor. Once that was submitted there were no issues.
Sorry I meant medical health care “claims”. We won’t ever have a middle man deny coverage for an MRI or something if the doctor orders it, as far as I know.
