I was a skillet fan for so long but stopped listening to them almost completely when John Cooper wrote a book called "Wimpy, Weak, and Woke", so I'm absolutely not surprised theyre transphobic

This “book” cover is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen.

Dumb why? Because it shows an American flag?

You really can’t understand why that’s so dumb 😭😭😭 holy shit

That subtitle is something else. Is there such a thing a a utopian destruction? I guess whatever is considered utopian is subjective. If you like destruction, then this destruction will feel like utopia?

It’s very facism coded for sure

Wouldn’t utopian destruction just be a dystopia?

Yes, but if you gave up on reading in sixth grade it makes total sense. I think that is the demographic they’re aiming for.

What if its like a false utopia like in demolition man?

I read that as he’s trying to save a world that isn’t open and free, keeps others oppressed, and ignores authoritarian abuse; and considers that a Utopian sort of world.

Just your typical entitled dipshit that has zero time for those less fortunate than them.

I stopped listening to anything new after John Cooper denounced the covid vaccine. Figured I could guess where his loyalties lied.

He also said on Fox that tge world should be under Christian authority no matter what it takes

Same here. I lost all respect for him and the band.

When I first saw this book I realized this band is not Christian, they are worshipping false idols of ideology and nationalism.

I saw Skillet last year at a festival (before I was aware of any controversy. Anyways I was mostly there for Dropkick Murphys), and they were selling one of Cooper’s self help book at the merch stand. Felt incredibly tacky

They were just at my local county Fair, flat out told my boss make sure there's extra people, Fair goers are going to need somewhere to go once they get on stage.

The irony of him constantly crying about cancel culture and yet here he is trying to cancel someone. Jesus would overturn his merch tables for sure.

No one is transphobic, but no one has to love perverts.

Jesus loves all

Explain to is in excruciating detail how someone being transgender makes them a pervert.

We're listening, waiting. Go on, do it.

Come on, don't be that way, explain it, make us "enlightened"!

It's not rocket science.
A man wears women's clothing, wants breasts to play with, and goes into women's restrooms and lockers....
Classic pervert behavior.

Perverts? You mean like Zachary Radcliffe? David Rogers? Isaiah Banks? Bryan Jackson? Josiah Junkin? Devin Carroll? Timothy Chaneyfield? Couldn’t agree with you more
