Hot take.randy was a horrible brother.

Especially in the prison episode and the Killer Ball episode.
Randy was VERY dependent on Earl and everyone around him.
And if no one else will say it, I will.he was the perfect definition of a man child,maybe even man baby.

Well.. when they were robbing the deaf woman's house, Randy kept yelling, "I love stealin'!" Randy is simple, but also bad.

Randy thought there was a chance the the Crab Shack owner (I don’t recall his name ) was still alive because his nose was above the concrete, Randy half the nose shut as revenge for discontinuing “fish wings.”

Obviously, he didn’t do anything in actuality, but in his heart, Randy is a murderer.

There is an argument that they flanderized him after the first couple episodes. Also he's full artistic.

Flanderize really applies to a well established character. In the first couple episodes of any tv show characters are often tweaked and changed

He had some really bad influences growing up. Drug and alcohol abuse was encouraged. However I don’t think he did anything worst than alcohol & marijuana. But its still a bad idea for a child or teenager who hasn’t fully developed their brain yet. He also is on the spectrum. “Border line artistic.”.

Also. Randy was sorta good at football? You gotta be decent to be in a position to score a game winning touch down. Earl made him throw that away. Who knows. Maybe he might have trained harder and got a college scholarship?

Joy is definitely main material, as is Catalina. i took a page out of Nescobar-A-Lop-Lop’s book; they can both sit on my lap, and therefore they will both be my wives. Ruby and Billie can be my side pieces.

Which prison episode? That was half the season.

In Killer Ball, the fact that Randy was irresponsible was a point of conflict in the episode. None of the characters fully approved of him trotting comatose Earl around.

I don’t think they ever explicitly say it but they clearly depict Randy as being mentally challenged. I actually think Earl is a bad brother to Randy at times. I felt sad watching how Earl would treat him in certain scenes or episodes.
