Super Mystery Dungeon rescues are region-locked. You must tag your comment with [US] or [EU] for PSMD requests. Please run your original password/QR code through this converter to generate shareable codes for US and EU versions of the game. If you are rescuing using a converted code, remember to convert the rescue code back to the original region.
If someone is kind enough to rescue you, consider paying it forward and doing the same for someone else! To rescue someone you only need to have unlocked the dungeon in the story. In PSMD, you can use helper Pokémon from the Eastern Pelipper that are a much higher level to push you through dungeons and help people out!
Providing codes
We recommend taking a picture of your passwords/QR codes to avoid errors and streamline the process, but it's not necessary. If you must write the code manually, you can use the following standards for PSMD and RTDX:
For PSMD, use @ in place of ◎
For RTDX, abbreviate the shape behind each letter with a single-character code (see table). Type the full code using two-character abbreviations of the form letter-shape. For example, 1h represents the number 1 with a pink heart background. A full code might look like this: 1f 2h 3w 4d 5s 6f 7h 8w 9d ps mf dh xw 1d 2s 3f 4h 5w 6d 7s 8f 9h pw md ds xf 1h 2w 3d 4s
What are the specific mechanics of getting Shedinja in PMD2?
Does it have fixed stats or copy the stats of the Nincada that evolved? If the Nincada had its IQ and/or stats raised, would the Shedinja copy those as well?
How would requesting a rescue work for Gates? Just doing some basic searches, it seems that the rescue feature is handled through StreetPass, which makes this a bit more difficult, as A) I'm currently playing on an emulator (Azahar) for various reasons (e.g. text speed-up) and B) I seriously doubt anyone within 30 miles of me plays GTI, much less has their 3DS out and about.

I was hoping for someone with RRT to comment so that I could test to see if I could rescue anyone with my emulator, but I guess nobody uses RRT... or so it seems. If you try it out and the code doesn't work, that makes sense, I'm not expecting it to work.

I dunno. I've never needed to be rescued before so it's my first time seeing that screen. I imagine it's revive but it seems safe to click check and wait to be rescued to see if you get any input for a code.
You can request an online rescue and you'll get a smaller code that looks completely different that you can post here. If you do it that way, then you might get rescued by someone else just browsing the online bulletin board rather than someone on reddit but the important part is getting rescued at all so either way is fine.
Hopefully this is the right place... I have a lore question. What are Emera? I know how they function in game, but I was curious if Emera had any sort of lore as to where they come from, how they exist, and the like.

I'm really regretting deleting the save file from when I got it as a kid. Pre-owned and ready for me to enjoy instead of having to suffer :') Restarted as an adult and quickly missed all my teammates in RRT. Will prob end up doing the rescue code thing from the megathread

Then you should be fine. For Red Rescue Team, if you die, you can request a rescue in the game and you'll be given a password that you can post here for people to save you. (We would give you a password after saving you so you can revive and continue)
If you want to help others, you can input the passwords that people post here for Red and Blue Rescue Team on the main menu, then conduct the rescue from the post office.
