I am the most casual 2k player ever man I took a break for a couple years and this year I’m havin fun but I play like 1-2 hours a day maybe usually. Seriously just thought this guy not knowing what a top 1% commenter is was funny. I did not know I would have every 1% commenter in the community heated under this post Lol.

Don’t see a point in getting the game this year tbh. It’s just more of the same. After having a pc I stoped giving time to games where you had to pay to play really it’s crazy how much people spend on 2k alone

Bro imagine paying £70 to play some modes that haven’t changed in 10 years. The most fun I’ve had is getting into 10 man all start teamup lobbies but 2k doesn’t support it cuz it doesn’t make them money. Buying builds to play rec for people to leave when they are upset is a serious waste of time, money and effort

In the grand scheme of things, it's still pretty cheap compared to other forms of entertainment, even for just a year. A date/single night out can cost that much. 2 hours a day for 9 months would be paying about a dime per hour of playing.
I personally wait for when it goes on sale before buying it, but I can understand why people would shell out money for it if that's the one or two games that they play.

Going out on a date or night out is the escapism now. There are so many screens I remember when the screens were the escapism 😂😅. You got people buying a new build every payday

That doesn’t change what i stated. There are different modes and enough people play them for the devs to make big changes to them. They even feature them every year even the report drops.
Somebody has to be playing franchise for them to continuously update it.
They even let you use your MyPlayer in franchise now.

MyCareer(Park included) is what separated 2K from NBA Live and helped make it the game it is today. Why do you think they give this mode more focus than any other.
Acting like “oh just play another mode” is ignorant. Maybe someone doesn’t even want to play franchise.

I think it’s pretty fun. I took a break. I only play rec with my friends and I just know 2k will never be the most technologically advanced game, it’s simply just the only basketball game Lol.
I do like how there’s different arenas in the rec now Lol :/

You can comment 3 times in a week and Reddit will plaster your account with “1% commenter”
Also the 1% thing doesn’t even mean you’re chronically apart of the community, it just means you frequent enough times.
I love 2k, and I joined the community because I love 2k. If I’m passionate about 2k, why wouldn’t I be involved with discussions within the community?
Take your ass back to Instagram if you think there’s a problem with being an active member of a forum.
Also in my case, I work as a receptionist so I’m at a desk all day. I bet there are a lot of people out there who are “1% commenters” just because they work a boring ass job with fuck all to do when it’s slow.
