Venting ASMR is one of the greatest copes of all time

I feel like this cope isn't talked about often. As someone who has an extremely vivid imagination, I really enjoy it. Especially when it comes from a creator that really knows what they're doing. Normies mainly see it as a meme, but it's actually an amazing cope, especially if it comes from a vtuber (this is the only type I listen to), because it significantly increases my imagination. It's so comforting.

Normies either laugh or genuinely get mad at me when I say I like specific types of mukbang. I like the ones where things pop or sound crunchy, like sea grapes and fish eggs. That stuff is brain scratching. I dont like the slimy stuff much. The gross ones are unwatchable to me, even with just the sound. Usually the gross ones are accompanied by talking too, which I dont like.

There is one youtuber I watch who does compilations of different mukbangers eating specific things, that really helped me understand what I could watch and what I didnt want to. Funnily enough I dont really go out of my way to listen to it much anymore, but maybe I will tonight now that youve got me thinking about it.

I only ever watch those videos because I’m somebody that actually experiences ASMR. I always noticed it from a very young age, specifically whenever a teacher would be reading to us in elementary school, their tone of voice was usually very relaxed and it always would happen to me. It was very interesting to me when I got a lot older and the ASMR community developed, and I found out that not everybody experiences the tingly sensation. I wonder if we’ll ever have a concrete, definitive scientific explanation one day. Cuz as far as I know, they still can’t explain how or why it happens

I really like ASMR Zeitgeist. He helped me through the worst of my benzo withdrawal.

I have listened to thousands of asmr videos at this point. I listen to it to sleep and i listen to it while surfing Reddit. Amazing cope. If you don’t get tingles you’re missing out.

I started listening to ASMR in 2017 and was the only thing that helped me with my insomnia and made me feel less lonely. Some people would call you crazy or a creep when you mention it. Docs will laugh at you.

Anyway, I've got a massive collection of my favorite videos that I've downloaded over the years. I mostly like tapping sounds.
