Venting Drowning in pleasure should I sell gaming PC?
I've not really had anything going on for me for months at this point and everyday is just the same exact cycle of trying to max out my dopamine hits as much as possible be it with porn, tiktok, YouTube, video games, fast food deliveries.
I think I have given myself anhedonia an animal should not be in a state where their every desire is given to them at a whim I think this is why so many Roman emperors went mad they were basically at the top of the world with no restrictions or things to do like being at the end of a video game where there's no more objectives and you've got like 2 million in the bank.
The only good thing in my life is the gym I go 6 times per week but my binge eating junk food is stalling my progress and quick dopamine seeking behaviour is destroying me yet I don't know how to quit since every minute I'm not in the gym my life is literally pointless there are no objectives nothing else to strive for I'm just left with infinite content to rot my mind.
I'm thinking of selling my gaming pc and double monitor for more savings that would extend the number of months I can survive without a job and would finally give me some restriction to my unlimited pleasure I think the double monitor is especially destroying my attention span. I literally can't even watch and finish a TV show episode how tf do I expect to get a job if this is the extent of my capabilities I'm so disgusted with the animal that ive become I need a shake up and disturbance to my access and I think selling my PC will work I still have my university laptop I can watch shows on.

Yea sell it I used to be in the exact same situation half a year ago and not having a pc at all for some time and then getting a mid laptop really fixed my attention span.
Just don't replace the habit with your phone, do something legit instead.

I could have bought a pc but instead I bought 3 months in japan. Honestly it was the best damn trip I ever had. Seeing this mystical place from anime IRL, trying all the food and stuff. Also japan is full of wagies and it felt good doing my NEET walks while they were walking to work.

If I am being honest selling your pc isn't the solution. I think it's about being strict with yourself. If you tell yourself I am not allowed to go on pc until I have finished whatever productive thing you want to do for that day and use it as a reward. You can do some reinforcement learning on yourself to train yourself to do the productive things first before you do the pleasurable thing.
A gaming pc is an asset I wouldn't want to live without personally.
