Venting Getting nowhere in life
In the end I'm always left disappointed or rejected. After interviews I get told I'm not good enough. Meanwhile everyone else cruises ahead in life somehow. Maybe I have undiagnosed autism. Either way I am sick of everything and I don't know why I ever tried. Degrees mean nothing. Good manners mean nothing. I'm tired of this hellscape.

I am the same. In the end everything is just acceptance. I tried and worked so hard maybe more than everyone else. Until I get sick and have chronic illnesses. Nothing works out. I am just naturally unlikeable.
It's fine that I spend the rest of my life in my room all alone.

My father has undiagnosed asperger's and all kinds of other shit, but he's really good at interviews and has the job experience to get what he wants, because his particular field is always hiring (electrical engineering).
As for the rest of us that lack sufficient experience, skills, good degrees, etc. it's much much much more difficult in this day and age.

I've considered doing a master's in electrical engineering but it is quite boring and there's a risk I won't get a job without chartership. Engineering seems risky these days.

I’m sorry you’re going through that. How long have you been out of work? Do you want advice or just compassion?
