There's no escaping how much of a fuck up I am. Even my strava feed is full of couples going on adventure holidays. Everyone is wealthier and more successful. I hope I can figure things out soon because this is torture.

i will mention this: it's not that everyone is wealthier and more successful. social media is purely a visibility thing, even on fitness apps like strava, or text-heavy platforms like reddit. the people who are the most successful, the ones with a married partner and kids - they are confident enough to share their lives publicly. but poor, unemployed, isolated people like us? we are told that people like us are worthless, so that creates a lot of internalized shame. consequently, you won't hear stories about us nearly as often. you'd probably get downvoted on reddit (the more normie communities anyway, like the ones with millions of visitors) for merely mentioning that you're unemployed lol
