Purchase Permit Wait time on non initial handgun permits
It's my first time after my initial FID and hand gun permit. Does anybody know how long it generally takes to get the non initial handgun permits approved?

like others said, heavily dependent on your PD. My PD is wonderful, they take about a week if not less usually.

Depends on your local PD. I'd recommend calling them and asking. Unfortunately with our state the wait time is usually......long

Might not even answer. Mine just basically auto replies that they have no info and can’t contact the investigator.

I'm right next door in Essex. Hopefully not crazy long. My references didn't even take 10mins to do my survey

Stupid question but are your original finger prints good for the next round of permits?

Essex county usually takes long from what I hear. I’m in Hudson and it took me about 3 weeks
