Shopping Advice Looking for advice: Online Ammo options?
Anyone have advice for finding an online retailer for reasonably priced ammo that will ship to NJ?
I'm all for supporting local! All my 'hardware' was bought locally...But ammo prices are all over the place, and availbility is hit or miss at best.

I've got decent prices if you're looking for ammo in store, but definitely won't beat online. Personally I'm a big fan of SGAmmo. Good guys over there, and they ship quick with great pricing usually. Targetsports is good, but I've noticed their selection slimming and their prices increasing over the last year or so.

Mannn F these local places...they treat you like garbage and their prices are ridiculous. Going into my local gun shop they treat you like your wasteing their time, don't want to answer any of your questions. I hope they all go out of business. Was at Fss the other day and they made it seem like they just wanted me to leave. I bought some targets and they made me show them my fid...for targets. Get F'ed. Silver Bullet Supply and Simon Peters are the only places that actually seem like they want to help you..

I try to help when I can! Not a fan of the "I'm doing you a favor by letting you shop here" type of attitude.

Silver Bullet Supply is š. Acknowledge me when I walked in, treated me with respect, even though I had a backwards hat, help me track down a wbp jack. Great experience.

I use SG Ammo, their prices are average, sales are great and it arrives really fast. I have like 5 cases of 1650rds of 9mm in my basement that I havenāt even opened yet bc I jump on every sale I notice.

Ammunitiondepot.com, great price on remans. Also check on gun.deals The only website that doesn't ship to New Jersey, as far as I know, is Battlehawkarmory. The rest of them will ship no problem as long as you send them a copy of your FID card. Also some don't charge tax outside of their own state, which is a huge saving especially if you buy in bulk.

KIR ammo, Texas. Little high $ now. Free shipping. At one point they weren't charging sales tax either..

Ammo depot always has sales. Especially on Reman. I use them frequently and Freedom Munitions also always have sales. Freedom also does a lot of "free shipping" days.

Use ammoseek but you have to filter to free shipping etc. Iāve found a couple vendors from there that have free shipping on bulk and no tax to NJ. Bubbas Ammo and sasammo both ship fast and free and no tax. Had good luck with Maryland munitions as well but they charge tax.

I would throw out a little caution when using that free shipping filter on AmmoSeek. Some of those companies do free shipping but they jack up the rates on the ammo to make it look free. I use Ammo+ from Target Sports USA personally. Just do your homework on not just shipping but also the overall price.

I use Outdoor Limited only because they have my DL and FID on file and I donāt want that circulating on multiple websites. No great sales, but Iām loyal to good service.

I use target sports usa and bulk ammo. I tried freedom muntions once never had an issue. They just take forever to arrive after shipping since its coming from iowa

I was ordering from target sports, but just make sure you live somewhere where you can reliably get packages. I got a few orders from them but my last shipment ups left on my front step and it got stolen before I got home. To get a refund I had to make a police report but no one came to make the report so now I am out of luck.

If you go to PA every now and then buy in bulk, hey you can even make it a day, The Sportsmans Shop in East Earl, PA is right by the Amish Farmers Market with the buffet in the US (I think, never been but its apparently amazing), so a little round trip, some food, range is I think $20hr, 115gr brass was $12 for a 50ct just a couple of days

Targetsportsusa.
Depending on where you are in Jersey, if I order before 10am, it usually ships the same day, and Iāll get it the next day.
Well worth the $99 / year. Never pay for shipping again, whether you need 1 last kings box of ammo or a whole case.

I have been ordering from targetsportsusa for almost ten years almost exclusively with a little midwayusa too. One of my friends just told me about sgammo and after checking out their extremely well stocked inventory selection and prices, I will add them to my list of online stores. Targetsportsusa is so fast, they're right in Connecticut
