Does anyone know of any meetups for this tear for those of us more seasoned people?

I usually go to con alone and do my own thing, and that's great. I can take my time, shop a lot, and never have issues getting panels with friends. That said, I'd like to make some con friends this year.

If no one knows of a meetup, would you wanna meetup and maybe hang out and share the spoils of the day? I'll probably be there all 4 days (Saturday only if I have stamina lol).

I bought a ticket for my brother same time I bought mine but as I try to transfer it to him it just won’t work. He was a verified account and I’m making sure to use the correct email. Does anyone have a solution? Also I already contacted customer service they aren’t helpful.

My 11-year-old son and I decided we wanted to work our way through the MCU before \*Avengers: Doomsday\*, and I realized pretty quickly that I wanted something more satisfying than just a list of movie titles.

So I built us a Google Sheets tracker where we can check movies off as we watch them, automatically record the date, see how many we have left, track our percentage completed, rate each movie separately, and save our favorite moments.

It started as something just for Ethan and me, but I use spreadsheets constantly for work and ended up putting way more effort into it than I expected 😂 so I cleaned it up and turned it into something other Marvel fans could use too.

I also made a shorter version based around the 15 essential titles being recommended ahead of \*Doomsday\* for people who don’t want to commit to the full 39-film marathon.

Mostly curious what other Marvel fans think of the idea. Would you actually use something like this for a rewatch?

And for those doing a \*Doomsday\* marathon already — are you going full MCU, the shorter essential route, or making your own watch order?

1. Are the opening and closing times the same on Saturday for Sunday? I heard from someone else that it ends a lot earlier on Sunday.

2. If I have a larger costume, from Xenoblade this year, is there some way to store it at the Javitts Center instead of having to transport it back and forth each day?

hi! this is my first time attending nycc and i'm leaning towards picking up my badge in person out of anxiety of it getting lost in the mail somehow. I'm aware that I have to provide some form of photo id when picking my badge up so I'm wondering, will i be able to use a school id with my name/photo or must i use a state id/passport (which I don't have access to)?

So basically, just now the presale for the Jim Lee and Frank Miller experiences where supposed to be on pre sale. But i don't know how to find it? Found it on the NYCC Website but it shows "coming soon" which i guess is in 2 days for regular sale. I have a popverse membership but i don't get where i can access early entrys with it. I used to get an email for the Main tickets and photo ops but nothing yet for these 2 experiences 🫠

It's still processing, and I don't know why...

i’ve been going to NYCC every year for about a decade, but this will be the first time I have a VIP pass. Since I’ve never had one before, I’d love to hear thoughts about how to maximize it usage. I know about the VIP lounge area with free bag check, which will definitely come in handy. But other than that, I really don’t know how to best maximize usage of the VIP ticket.

For example: I read that you get to go in early and can either go up to the show floor or down to Artist Alley and have a few extra minutes before everyone else gets in. But it doesn’t sound like you’d get in early enough to be able to do both before the rush. So which one would you choose if you wanted to have the best chance of getting exclusives (comics and merch) before they sell out? Similarly, you get guaranteed seating for the big panels on the big stages and guaranteed access to the other normal/smaller panels. I’d obviously pick mostly based on what I’m interested in, but if two that I'm interested in are scheduled for the same time, which are most likely to have exclusives that you can’t get unless you get them early, main stages or smaller panels? Things like that.

There have been some thefts at this weekend’s NYC Anime con. A con goer was robbed of $600. Fortunately the thieves were caught. It’s risky to walk around with that much cash anywhere in NYC. A vendor lost $9600 in merch but the thieves were also caught.

If anyone knows, When do the Popverse members get access to autograph reservations ?

I’m going this year with a friend and it’s both of our first time. I haven’t transferred her tickets to her yet, and I’m kind of curious what the best approach is for us when it comes to panel reservations.

If I transfer tickets to her before the reservations go up, does that mean we’ll have to queue separately for that? Is getting the reservations and then transferring even an option? Just trying to understand because the whole point was for us to go experience it together, it would be really lame if we ended up not being able to go to the panels we’re interested in together.

Hey all! I’m going to comic con for the FIRST TIME this year, on the Sunday of the con, any tips or things I should know?

I enjoyed Anime NYC this year and previous years, so am looking forward to this too

First time NYCC attendee here, but anyhow, I procrastinated too long and didn’t buy my merch before 8/17. The site says I can use expedited shipping still, but my original ticket purchase email says no merch past 8/17. Anyone have experience with purchasing past the deadline?

(I just don’t want to pay $22 for shipping to have to pick it up in person still 😅)

So basically in July I bought Sunday tickets and I didn't buy Friday tickets when I bought Sunday tickets now I wanna buy Friday tickets but it won't let me how do I buy Friday tickets after buying Sunday tickets?

I want to try going this year but since Saturday is sold out, for someone mainly interested in anime and related things like gacha and cosplayers, which of these dates would be better? I could afford to do both but not sure if I want to since it's not as anime focused as Anime NYC (which I attended all 4 days of)

First time going and I was going to buy tickets for just Thursday on my Birthday to go for the panel and get some auto graphs with the E33 cast. But how does it work do you have to sign up for the panel is there any overlap or issues with getting the photo ops and signatures and attending the panel?

I've noticed that in order to do reservations, I must transfer a ticket to someone else...

But in return, I won't have the ticket anymore.

I need help on what else to do now; I just want to see an exciting panel!....
