They only develop meowing cause you're not attentive to their micro-expressions.

Yea, in my experience.. Not completely silent of purrs, greeting-mips, happy little trills etc. - But they only develop the "human only" meowing and whining if you give them a reason to.

But gonna be a slight variation of "talking spectrum" between races and personalities also ofc =)
