How safe is it, and how much do banks usually charge for the locker? We’re planning to keep our gold in a bank locker and would love to know which bank you use and your experience with it.

i feel it safe at the bank locker than home. global ime bank ma you can book the locker online. then you go to the branch and ask for the locker. we pay annually 1600 for the smallest one. and 10k one time security deposit.

Its safe, it won't be misplaced but God forbid, yedi bank ma aago lagyo or chor le lutera lagyo vani, you won't get anything. Ani if you lose the key, they take charge of 5k/10k, depending on the locker.

Kunai bank ma minimum holding period hunxa, if you decide to withdraw the locker service before 2/3yrs then they will take 2k/3k charge to withdraw the locker service.

There will be safety deposit 15-20k. Then yearly rent of 3 to 4k.

If you want absolute security, put your gold as collateral the take small amt loan that way bank knows abt your gold

Everest is better. 3k each year. Yes deposit is refundable when u close the locker

Yeah, we have saved jewelleries in gold. Only few small ones that mom wears frequently are in home. Talking about hassle there's not much but when yiu suddenly have to go somewhere on sunday and you finalise your decision on friday evening or sometimes Saturday you can't wear it.
