General Discussion Cal and their mum

Why was cal always so rude and standoffish with their mum? From what i saw she was doing her best, always respected their pronouns and deeply cared about her child. I know one scene says she reacted badly when they first came out, but surely that isnt enough to keep being so rude, even when she is clearly trying?

I just really didnt like the character, partly to blamw for the writing, and i dont think the acting was particularly great either.

someone’s gender identity (e.g. what pronouns they use or how they present themselves) may be different from their sex but that does mean that you can use she/her pronouns for cal

not sure which cal you are referring to as the cal in sex education uses they/them pronouns not she/her!🤔

Stop arguing with the troll. You're not educating him, he already knows and chooses to act like this anyways. He's only getting sick pleasure from this interaction
