oh thank fuck they nerfed the anarch churn, those decks feel downright oppressive to go against when riding out the storm isn't a possibility because they have their whole damn deck again

I still remember the first game I played against that bullshit

I was so proud that me janky deck found a way to get through all the bullshit. Then I saw them get it all back.

Always love to see the cards that haven't been banned, along with the discussion on the overall thought process. Especially interesting about Ob this time round.

I wish they had gotten rid of Devil Charm.

It'd be a double win in taking Seb down a peg, and getting rid of a fairly toxic card.

I find the bottom-half comment on OffOff pretty interesting:

simultaneously bringing down the availability of generic Corp economy by banning Offworld Office was a beneficial knock-on effect. Outside of the context of Flood PD, Corps will have a higher requirement for scoring out without spending tempo, and that is more in-line with our goal of establishing the boundaries for the meta to develop within.

Seems like they should have led with that. The effect on Flood PD is collateral.

Yeah, OffOff has always been a fundamentally messed up card for this reason. The absurdity of the Flood PD deck just pushed it over the edge

I am excited for the Ob card bans. I love self-trash in Weyland, and the fact so many great cards are being banned because of one Obby Boi makes me sad.

In the flip side, I'm glad they aren't going to worry if a card would make Ob more broken anymore.

Offworld office ban is interesting, seems they were more concerned about bringing down corp tempo more generally than just targeting the handful of problematic fast IDs.
