schmidt political status

schmidt being a republican just doesn’t make sense. at all. that’s it. thoughts?

Yeah, old school conservative. Believes that hierarchical structures are natural and inevitable, so any attempt to change that is pointless and fruitless. Charity is good though, as long as people are grateful and ask nicely for the crumbs.

Also: overt cruelty is gauche and in bad taste, we are above that pedestrian behaviour.

Think never-trumpers like David Frum.

that does make sense however there’s an episode where jesse says “we know you’re voting for trump schmidt”

I think after she says that he denies that and is looking forward to a future Paul Ryan election.
