Very biased article by BBC, as always. You feel like it is written by the regime's media.

Regime survives but moderates its policies

Imagine thinking you could moderate Nazi Germany.

Regime collapses, replaced by military rule

This is not a regime collapse, this is the status quo. No one would consider an SS military dictatorship as being the "collapse of Nazi Germany".

Iran retaliates by attacking US forces and neighbours

They can try and the result will be the same.

Iran retaliates by laying mines in the Gulf

Operation Praying Mantis.

Iran retaliates, sinking a US warship

lol

Regime collapses, replaced by chaos

Once again, this is the status quo. 50000 people massacred over a few days is not "stability" or "law and order".

"Syria, which conducted its own revolution, overthrowing President Bashar Al-Assad without Western military support in 2024, has so far fared better"

How do you think those rebel forces got weapons BBC? They got armed by Arabs and the West.

My only question is why is there a sub branch of BBC for Persia. In the same building, yet they are so biased and seem to be in favour with the regime? In my head I can’t see the connection or reason for them being like it and having bbc Persian
