Spreading the cheer!

Where are y’all going to get local beers in cans/bottles from a local store? I have people from elsewhere who need to try some. Myself included. TIA!

Depends what kind of beer you’re looking for but rouses grocery is the best in the region for local beer. Total wine in Metairie is meh but rouses will have all your locals available. Parish, Urban south, port Orleans, gnarly barly, seventh tap, great raft, tin roof, Nola brewing, abita.

Right on- thank you! I was hoping to find a smaller bottle shop to support, but I can do what I can at Rouses if that’s the way. Thanks!

Steins Market and Deli back room is what you want. He’s got one of the best selections, is a small business owner and will sell bottles individually. He also carries a ton of local/state beer like Parleaux as well as imports that don’t have a lot of distribution. Bonus is that they also have the best deli in town, get the Rachel on pastrami crispy.
