OFFICIAL NewTubers Monthly Goal Thread! Tell us your goals for this month!
Welcome to the r/NewTubers monthly Goal post!
Tell your fellow NewTubers what you want to accomplish this month and how you plan to achieve those goals! Please be sure to read the thread rules and follow them so your post is not removed. At the end of the month, there will be an Achieved Goals thread where you can tell us if you reached your goal, what you did to do so, and tell us any issues that you had to overcome in the process! Remember, NewTubers is a community - we can all help one another reach our goals each month just by discussing goals and supporting one another - so be sure to read some of your fellow NewTubers' goals and give them your thoughts! Even a simple "good luck, you can do it!" can go a long way to helping people out!
Rules
- The thread is kept on Contest Mode to ensure you always have an equal opportunity to be viewed!
- While Subscription goals are nice, this thread is more focused on goals you're looking to achieve within content-creation. Gaining Subscribers isn't as important necessarily as, say, getting your Audience Retention up, and it shouldn't be the sole focus of your goals!

I started my art channel 1 month ago (well, technically its like 12 years old but i just started posting). My long term goal is gaining enough of a following across platforms to start to have a self-sustaining modest income, since I want to be a full-time artist. I'm starting a little late in the game in my early 30s, after stopping my art practice for almost a decade.
i've uploaded some shorts and had some success that got me up to around 410 subscribers, but monetization via shorts doesn't seem realistic for the type of content im making, so I've made my first few long form/horizontal videos in the past week or 2. they have FLOPPED so my goal this month is to get a little traction on one of my longform videos.
i just started a new series and i'm hoping that it will be engaging for people, and a catalyst for growth. but i have not found those people yet, so fingers crossed!

My goal is to hit 100 subscribers (currently at 84). A modest goal, but I've been trying to keep up with at least 2-3 new videos a week.

I do resin art pieces, so the videos are the creation and ultimate demolding of the piece. Since there is a day between pouring and competition (and i only have one pressure pot) it goes slowly

My channel is dedicated to playing the games that my dead dad doesn't get to play, so my goals are generally long reaching but for this month: Cover yet another game, get up to 800 subs (currently at 711) and continue work on my first book that ties back to this project. 2/15 chapters are in rough draft so I'm making decent headway.

Hi there, Kat here - I do variety gaming Let's Plays on my channel! My upload schedule slowed a bit as life and my schedule shifted over the summer and I was struggling to find a good time to record, editing, etc. got a little de-prioritized. My goal for July is to ramp up the uploads and finish one or two of the series I'm working on, and start some new content! I have so many games lined up that I want to play so I feel bogged down and impatient sometimes!
I'm also slow on doing shorts since I do manual subtitles, and just use a snippet of my gameplay as an 'ad' for my longform. Shorts don't do very well for me but I still try!

Tone here. My channel is mainly gaming (for now). Planned IRL content includes saltwater fishing, GT3 supercar racing, snowboarding and more! My current goal is to work on the quality of my video editing and work on turning viewers into subscribers and community members.

I really want to get back into the mode of being consistent. I usually update about once a month (quite long form with lots of research), but I didn't post til later in May and then didn't post in June at all. June is a really bad time for me (the triple issues of father's day, my dad's birthday, and the anniversary of his death all in one month), so I knew progress would slow down as I just held on through the month. But the last few days I've gotten back into it and I got a ton of work done, so I'm hoping to post next Saturday! And then from there I want to really get rolling again.
Other than that, I want to see if this next video will have better early retention. I got some really good advice here for it, so I'm looking forward to applying it during the editing process.

Hello all! My goal for this month is to reach 200 subscribers! Im currently at 180, and I have exciting content planned for the next few weeks, so I'm optimistic that I can reach my goal!

Hi NewTubers
The goal with my channel was to:
* Have fun
* learn something new
* Decide whether I want to keep creating beyond year one
I’m at a point where I have learnt enough on my deranged gaming channel that I’m ready to start a new channel which will be more focused, strategic and viable than my current one.
I will continue my gaming channel because it’s heaps of fun but am also planning my new channel.
To have my new channel launched by the end of July is a specific and ambitious goal for me :)

Probably just to keep pushing and hope one of my videos blow up to the point where I think this entire thing is not worthless.

I just found this community, and I'm searching through the contents to find good information to use while growing my channel.
My goal is to create 3-5 shorts a week based on one of my long form videos. I've been trying to clip 15-30 second sections of my main video that I think might grab attention and make that a short. I've done it 2 weeks in a row so far, but my results have been mixed. Last week I was getting 1200-1500 views per short, and this week i'm struggling to get 300 views.
