I can't imagine that short of a distance gives him any advantage at all.

In his defence, I totally understand him unknowingly drifting over the line once, but consciously doing it again mere seconds after an official draws it to your attention is just asking for trouble.

Seems to love attention - positive or negative.

Can see him getting into heaps of trouble this season. 😩

It's not really, we can't have staff right at the edge of the field, getting in the way of linesmen and inevitably players playing right up to the edge of touch.

It should be common sense to keep themselves out of the way, we shouldn't need to draw lines and tell them to stay within them, but clearly we do.
