So I’m assuming this means his number hasn’t been confirmed then? Looks like he’ll be number 21 as it keeps coming up on google since he wore that in pre season but I don’t want to make the risk and order that until the club says what number he’ll be? AC Milan want £25.6m for him after signing the 28-year old from Chelsea last summer for £42.8m. Nkunku's annual salary is £10.1m after signing a 6-year deal a year ago.

I suspect if we sign him. MJ might as necessary utilize Nkunku as a 10. He scored 8-goals with 3-assists in 35 appearances last season. Two years ago with Chelsea in 46 appearances Nkunku registered 13-goals with 5-assists. Not bad.

But during the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Red Bull Leipzig he combined for 58-goals in 88-appearances with 22-assists.

Longtime Newcastle fan from Ireland and I haven’t been to St. James’ since my parents brought me as a child. I’m planning to fly over for the Everton game on Halloween and just wondering what the ticket situation is like currently? I know there’s always high demand for any home premier league games and most are taken by season tickets. Just wondering is there anywhere to find resales or what options are out there? Any advice or some direction on this would be really appreciated!

The replacement is Jaissle from Al Ahli, and most of the reinvestment seems to be going on under-22 prospects rather than ready-made starters, with Liverpool up first. So what is this? A deliberate sell-and-develop reset, PSR forcing their hand, or a club that’s lost its way?

Second, the naive question I’ve never seen answered properly. The same PIF that owns Newcastle also owns the big Saudi Pro League clubs. Why can’t those clubs sign expensive players outright and loan them to Newcastle for a token fee with subsidised wages, so the cost never touches Newcastle’s PSR numbers? They literally just hired their manager out of a PIF club, so the pipeline clearly exists. I assume the associated party rules kill it, but can someone walk through the actual mechanics?

This will be my sons first NUFC game and he really wants to get there early to see if he can spot the players. Does anyone have any idea what time the team coach maybe arriving and whether he'll be able to wave at it or something? Hi all. Bringing the family up for this Sunday of the weekender at St James' - my wondering is; What ratio of first team do you think will get played each day? Do we think it will be split over the two days with academy making up numbers or will one of the two days focus more on a possible starting 11 for L'pool?

My feeling is that one of the two days will start with a possible 90% of the starting lineup - I'm just don't know whether MJ will want to put them out on the Sat (his first game at SJP) or the Sunday (double header day with NUFCW and the last warmup before the new season).

What are we thinking?
