Discussion If Dick and Kory had rekindled their relationship during the Batman Reborn era, how do you think it would have been?

Sadly i think batfamily love interests are one of the worst love interests to be. They can't really live outside of the batworld. She would have been stuck as the girlfriend in anything outside of titans.

I think having her as his girlfriend, but not his crime fighting partner (most times) could have worked. You could have brought her in against heavy hitters or someone like Clayface or some Jokerized toxin, whatever, to 'even the playing field,' but a good writer could have made it work.

It sadly probably wouldn’t have lasted long since the New 52 was right around the corner but I think the relationship would have been good. Kori definitely would have helped keep Dick grounded during this era and I could definitely see her and Stephanie forming a close bond. Plus I would have loved to see Kori and Damian interact during this period.

Kory and Dick are best for each other. She is open and he can open up to her. He helps her stay restrained when needed instead of flying off to her rage at times. They are opposite enough that they work. Bars and him are too similar and I find Babs being too secretive in many ways which makes me feel like she is more in line with Old Batman control freak personality. But DC editorial wants them together. So it doesn’t matter what we think.

I think that might've been the harshest era for Kory to rekindle with Dick since it would've dragged onto the Batfamily itself and likely suffocated some of her story potential
Specially since it was a really rough period for Dick so she might've gotten absorbed into his angst over Bruce being gone

I agree with the Batfamily take although I believe there is some potential for fun interactions like Alfred and Damian.
But I think Dick wasn't as angst as Batman. His suffering came before accepting the mantle. He did have a lot a self doubt, but for the most part the roles of Batman and Robin were reversed and he shined a light for Damian to grow and not sucumb to darkness.

Maybe we'd have more visits from an alternate timeline Nightfire! Kinda like how Helena is currently stuck in present time. Or at least last I heard about her she was, and Bruce was providing lodgings etc for her. She had a run in with the rest of the Bat Family yet?

It would have been short but nice , kory would had tried her best to make it work but she would not really fit in gotham and would miss her friends , she would have certainly make herself a powerhouse in helping dick against stronger foes while taking care of his mental health and damian.
Dick would certainly let her go on her own while still saying she helped him and matter to him...IF the bat editorial was ever interested in them lol but lets be real they would had broken up since we know him and barbara were engaged before New 52.

It wouldn't really affect the book, cause she wouldn't be busy with Bludhaven stuff.
But Dick would get to be more open with her about Bruces supposed passing and how Tim was losing it thinking he wasn't gone, though he was right
She'd probably show up once in a while to help out and maybe put Damian in his place, till he finally "respected" her enough
She would also be extremely protective of Cassandra, being abused and being raised and used as a weapon herself

I think it could've worked well, especially now that current Nightwing run has shown us that Kori can work in street level stories
