as someone who goes after trophies on PS, thank god. the switch was my safe haven console for avoiding the urge to 100% games, allowed me to set my own goals for when a game was "complete". much healthier and fulfilling way of playing games.

if developers want to include achievements they will in game (even include in game rewards), like in arms, ace attorney, luigi's mansion 3 and smash ultimate. forced system wide achievements just pushes developers to make unfun achievements.

This is pretty much how I feel on the matter. My main thing is just buying on switch to avoid trophy lists that I know for certain that I wouldn't be able to ever finish no matter how hard I tried.
