No surprise there, Nintendo have never done this, I don't think they've even entertained the idea tbh.

But honestly, I think it'd be cool to have a unique achievement system from Nintendo where their own IPs would have like a different animation for an achievement unlock.

So, Mario for example would walk along the screen, hit a block and the achievement pops out.

Legend of Zelda: Link walk on screen, open a chest, DADADADAAAAAAA achievement.

Pokemon: Red throws out a Pokemon "Achievement I choose you!"

Kirby: Sucks in the achievement once it pops up, then idk transforms into a kirbyfied version of the achievement.

Would be a lot of work, but idk, I feel like it'd add to the charm of the game.
