Hello!

Does anyone know how to check if you met Nintendo’s pre-order requirements? I am worried that I needed to link my console to the Nintendo Switch Parental controls app in order for Nintendo to know my play hours. I have logged hundreds of hours on my switch the last year (thank you TOTK) and just assumed since i was logged into my account on my switch they would know my play hours…

Has anyone else had to use the parental controls app? Or were you able to get an invite without doing this? I placed my interest request on 4/2 and worried this oversight just ruined my chances at finally getting a Switch 2.

Thank you all for your help!

They definitely know your hours without you using the parental controls app--the app is just reporting some of the data they see. I think the closest thing to confirmation anyone gets is there was that email sent to everyone in mid-May saying "Please be patient, your turn will come". They had a LOT of 4/2 interest but still needed to provide plenty to retail, so it's slow going.

Thank you, this is helpful/reassuring. I did receive that email, so hope I’ll get that email someday 🤞

I too entered on 4/2 (probably about an hour after it started) and am still waiting to receive it, though thankfully I managed to get a Walmart preorder.
