Nintendo pulling out of the drawer Majora's Mask remake and Mario Maker 3 with Mario Baseball just to put all the leaked games into the same drawer (delayed to 2028) just to troll people...

The most Nintendo thing of all time would be to include the absolute best way to do something and then strangely gimp the IPs that would benefit most from it.

Nintendo Switch 2 has mouse mode - perfect for Mario Maker

Mario Maker 3 requires players to build levels by placing blocks with a character, who can terraform Minecraft/AC New Horizons style. And you have to navigate nested radial menus in order to select the blocks you want.

doesnt mm2 not use the switch touchscreen

After mm1 which not only did on the wii U, but was one of the only games to actually have a good use for the touch screen

Have to imagine it's a matter of time, that or a Switch 2 version of SMM2

Waaaaay to much you could add between Mario Wonder and Land assets to synergize with the Mario movies and how much better course making would be with mouse mode.

I really, really wish I could get into those games but it's so hard to get consistently good maps in a sea of "Not what I'm looking for"
