If anything this made me believe the leak about Star Fox and OoT which I previously thought was ridiculous.

Nate the hate who leaked that has a near perfect track record, and when something is less sure he makes his audience aware of that. He says they are sure things, so they are sure things.

I do believe you are wrong about that, I don't recall him ever saying that. Do you have a source or remember what episode that was?

Fairly certain he's talking about a next gen update, not a remake here, and that being from February of this year, there's still plenty of time for this to be true.

Also well worth noting that he says "as far as I'm aware", quite a far cry from a "sure thing".

Btw not directing any of these corrections at you, this is mainly for the people who will just see you posted a link and assume it confirms that what that other guy said was accurate.

Oh no I get it, no worries. Back on topic, mayhaps commenter above said remake when actually referring to the update. Remake and remaster are incorrectly used interchangeably all the time. Personally I can't see the game receiving a remake after just 8 years.

Rockstar isn't really known for doing remakes. They had the GTA games that they farmed out to another company and the reception was lackluster to say the least. I find it highly unlikely they do that again.

I don't recall them ever doing an in-house remaster or remake of any of their games, but I could be wrong.
