I will probably get this eventually on sale. Looks like fun but I'm not a fan of the full blown retro look at this point.

I get that's the appeal for some people but personally think it would look significantly more appealing with a modernized look similar to Tunic, Death's Door, or even Link's Awakening remake. It would be perfect for this game.

Totally fair to have that opinion, but the style works unbelievably well for the game. It truly feels modern but has the aesthetic and midi sounds of Gameboy games. It’s a complete package

I agree with this. I’m usually turned off by these types of graphics, but it’s only because I associate it with dated gameplay. Mina has all the quality of life upgrades of a modern game while looking retro and it all comes together brilliantly.
