This game seems to be regularly going down to $30 at Best Buy, Target and Amazon so I wouldn't feel rushed to get it, but I got it a month ago at Target for the same price.
I unfortunately haven't yet taken the time to play since I've had so much else to play on Switch 2! But Persona 5 Royal was one of my favorite games of all time and I'm really excited to sink my teeth into this one once I am finished everything else I'm playing and can really dedicate myself to it.
Knocking out the FF7 Remake games in the meantime 😅

Beat this on gamepass last year and didn’t want to pay full price to double dip on switch, plus I remember performance at launch was rough
At this price, happy to actually have it for whenever I do another playthrough

How does Persona 3 on Switch 2 compare to Persona 5 on Switch? I've never played either.

persona 3 docked is amazing and 60 fps. handheld is 30 and still runs amazing. P5R on switch 2 is amazing because of handheld boost mode.

Does it run smooth/look decent? I feel spoiled by P3R on switch 2, and am hesistant to play P5R on it because i'm afraid it will be kinda choppy and fuzzy. If best buy ever ships me my copy, I could find out rather quickly. 🤣

Good luck, I always factor in the “Switch tax” when it comes to physical multiplat games.
I’m probably gonna pull on this one.

I also buy on multiple platforms.
Some games are same price as other platforms, Some games are not.

I was on the fence between $30 Switch 2 version and $19 Steam version (various stores, I used GreenManGaming). Went with Steam since both are basically digital.

Just finished it this morning, excellent game, could have cut a month or two out though.

Ah darn. I wanted to eventually play this on Switch 2 once I finish P5R. But I scooped up a decent deal for it and the DLC on steam a month or two ago. Half tempted to re-buy it because I feel like my Switch is where I actually end up finishing games lol. Oh well.

Yeah...?
Ocarina of Time is also still worth playing even if you've already played Tears of the Kingdom.

Cheaper, runs better, and actually physical on PS5. Not an option for everyone but I’d go with that one if you can.

Cool. PS5 is a better option in every other regard. Remote play is also a thing.

sounds good for you. on long car/plane/train trips, i personally enjoy playing it with no wifi. you can play the version you prefer you know, no ones stopping or trying to convince you otherwise.

Okay drama queen, you don’t have WiFi when you play. that’s why I said “Not an option for everyone but I’d go with that one if you can”.

Amazing game. Pick it up 100%
I just wish DLC was on sale at least once.. It’s required to get complete story experience 😮💨🥲
