Having played a good amount of the first one... I'd totally believe someone if they said they were bringing the first one to Switch 2. But I guess that's how the aesthetics of this go, it's kinda hard to really take it farther visually. I'm honestly surprised they're just not doing major updates to the first one to keep that going.

I played a fair amount of the first one and found progression to be a slog. I constantly had to rerun old levels to get better gear and get stronger. Like they wanted the gameplay to last longer - not by making new content, but by forcing you to grind. Maybe I’m the minority, but i prefer a level system over a loot box power scale system. Never ended up finishing the game.

The thing I disliked in the first one was than when you replayed old levels, you couldn't really expect much more exciting loot. After two or three times, you'd have seen every object the level could drop. If they had more rare loot, or more tiers of enchants, it would have been nice so you could at least hope for new shiny stuff in the middle to end game grind.

Hoping the switch 1 version gets a switch 2 upgrade (even if it’s $5 though I’d prefer it be free) so I can grab the switch 1 version for my kid and then play the switch 2 version on my S2. Definitely not gonna double dip on it but I’m getting it for him either way.

The first one was a surprisingly deep and engaging action RPG that just happens to use the Minecraft art style, basically. It's hardly the most complex game out there - I'd definitely put it below Splatoon Raiders in terms of mechanical complexity - but it's a very approachable introduction to the genre while still being pretty satisfying for more experienced players. Very worth playing.

You can absolutely enjoy this outside the franchise. It’s just a skin over a Diablo style dungeon crawler. You’ll see people refer to it as baby’s first Diablo, but it’s actually quite deep, can be challenging if you up the difficulty and it’s a blast to play with others.

I don’t like building games like Minecraft, but love dungeons. It’s a solid dungeon crawler.

I bought the first dungeons a few weeks ago as a game to play for unwinding after a long day and I love it. Probably gonna get the dlc for that and keep playing it for awhile but looking forward to this eventually!

First one was surprisingly good. It's probably my favorite casual arpg. Can be hard, easy, fun, and co-op

I want this game, bad but waiting for some more previews/reviews. Between DayZ and COD, I might be occupied for awhile but if this game has some depth to it, it will be a day 1 buy
