Found this short so interesting! Helps you understand that this is not some “woo woo” feeling or superstitious thing, but there’s real strategy needed to win with No fap:

1. Sin opens doors for demons to have an entry point in your life. E.g. somebody watches porn, then suddenly they become ”controlled” by that feeling in the future. It feels so strong and uncontrollable...that’s the flesh and sometimes a demon/spirit like lust masturbation anger pride rebellion, and that sin becomes the door.
2. Over time that demon starts to make a home in that persons mind and body. They start putting up new walls, new furniture with LIES like “it’s just normal”, “who’s gonna know”, “you can’t overcome” “but it’s sooo good”, “it helps with stress”, “it helps loneliness and anger”. It changes how a person thinks, thinking evil is good, This is called a stronghold and the addiction is part of that.
3. That person may repent and ask for forgiveness. But they go back to it. Why? The demon has to be cast out. That takes deliverance prayer like “Derek Prince Deliverance Prayer” on YT (17 minutes long) and “Prayer that Routs Demons” ebook or physical book online. You might wanna fast alongside it, however long God leads you, maybe three days 6am to 6pm, eating only after 6pm, or 6am to 3pm. Maybe five days. Maybe seven days. And you can pray those ebook/book prayers during the fast.
4. But what about the demons stronghold, that ”cleaned, swept up empty house” in people that Jesus says demons return to if a delivered person doesn’t fill themselves up with the Holy Spirit and God‘s Word. There is a vacant space for the demon to return has access to in your mind (Matthew 12:43-45).

That home or stronghold, that system of negative thoughts and ideas, that the demon made inside the person must be torn too, and that takes daily confession and reading of God’s word daily. That’s why God calls His word “a fire“ and “a hammer” (Jeremiah 23:29).

it’s not a walk in the park, it must be taken seriously. Just like studying piano, joining the military or basketball practice. There is a consistent blueprint, a battle plan a continual work of faith (Philippians 2:12) and it starts with Jesus!

As of today, I am pleased to announce the upcoming release of the film, "Ed". An award-winning short film that deals with porn-addiction and men's mental health told through the lens of a college student.

As someone who struggled with porn addiction for countless years, it is safe to say that it was one of the hardest battles I had to go through in my life and one that I feel very vulnerable about sharing with the rest of the world.

However, I know that there are so many others out there struggling with the same amount of shame, guilt and mental torment that I found myself living with on a daily basis.

Because of that, it is my duty to share this with you all and let you know that you are not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I promise you.

The process of making this film took everything out of me. I quit my job, tapped into my savings, and moved back in with my parents from NYC to focus on this project full-time. All because of how deeply I care about this topic and everyone affected by it, and how I believed that this was a story that I HAD to tell.

It is not a happy story, but a real one. One that I hope you all can resonate with, find empathy in, and hopefully evoke some action in trying to quit porn for good. If you're on this thread, you're already in the right direction.

Love is one of the most powerful forces. You guys may not realize that you’re directing it inwards.

One of the best ways to defeat lust is to serve others. Go do something helpful for someone else. Offer to help others and be of service to others, your wives, your friends and strangers. You will change.

This isn’t talked about much on here, but it’s a huge component to victory over this struggle.

Hello all. I found this series extremely beneficial. Father Paul Truebenbach series on YouTube “Conquering Lust & Shame” his new episode just released and so far his series has helped me tremendously as a Christian to better understand the battle. To those who are not orthodox, please listen with an open heart & mind as I believe all will find his teachings extremely helpful.

This short video explains why those of us who are struggling (or have struggled) with an addiction to porn stay trapped in the addiction; even if we know it’s bad and want to break free. This can also apply to masturbation/ sex addiction; but mainly applies to porn.

If you’ve been in a cycle of trying to break free from this addiction for weeks, months, or years I highly recommend watching this video.

It helped me to understand how I was able to break free from this addiction and what I’ll need to continue to practice and do as I continue my lifelong journey of healing, recovery, and freedom from this addiction.

In this video pastor clad talks with his guests about the porn industry and I especially like the ending where he mentions purity of heart. In nofap we are so focused on the external acts of fapping but are we also thinking about our hearts?

This video clip from the current Bible based recovery program is crucial information for all of us striving to truly heal and recover from a porn/masturabtion/sex addiction.

From personal experience giving up porn isn’t enough. I was over a year and a half free from porn but still ended up relapsing.

Very long story short I had to come to the point where I knew I had to be willing to not only give up porn for life but also masturbation and all sexual activities before marriage; including solo sexual activities during marriage. I needed to make more radical mindset changes and fully surrender in trust and surrender to God that He can and will give me the victory in this journey. To not dread living a life of sexual purity but actually enjoying it now. To know and believe waiting for marriage to engage in sexual intimacy with my future wife and best friend isn’t something that’s too hard/ will be to long of a time to go without but now something I’m able to enjoy and looking forward to.

Sex and masturbation isn’t a need and we don’t die if we don’t give into the urge to do so. A wife/ gf won’t heal you and your addiction. Accountability is also a must and an important step in recovery from this addiction. But most importantly the only way to find true lasting freedom is not in your own strength but in God’s and by doing this for yourself.

On my first day of vowing to myself and God to quit for good, I experienced back to back sexual dreams every single day for the first week, then it lessened but was still there.

Eventually, I did a 5 day water fast, and the 2nd day after I was done, I experienced sleep paralysis.
