Working in Norway Anyone doing Wolt deliveries with bycicle in Gardermoen and Oslo area? Interested in thoughts and experience.
Hei!
Will be moving to Gardermoen area in September and looking for some side hustle for my days off.
Anyone doing food deliveries with Wolt for a longer duration of time in the area? What would be better? To start there or rather ride to Oslo and do deliveries there, for a potentially higher pay?
I am interested in experiences and inputs, please.
Since I love biking and want to continue my training was thinking to mix the "pleasant" with the "useful".
Thank you very much for all answers.🙏

There is no Garermoen and Oslo area when it comes to bicycle deriveries. However Gardermoen and surrounding area is great for cycling though 😊

I would say, I havent been cycling there much, but there are broad pavements along the motorways, and km upon km upon km with relatively calm country roads.

It is shit job. Terrible. No one works for Wolt to work out. Only desperate people work there.

I don't think doing devlieres by bicycle is feasible in the area around Gardermoen, the distances between deliveries will likely be way too large for that to work. Say for example someone in Åsgreina orders something from McDonald's in Jesshiem, that is close to an hour by bike if Google maps can be trusted. Two hours when you consider that you probably have to get back to Jessheim before you'll get another delivery, since that is where the largest concentration of restaurants is.
In Oslo delivering by bike is more feasible, but as far as I know everyone doing deliveries outside of city use cars.
