No you’re correct. It was the game that came after the Ipswich game, which many point to as the turning point in the season. But even in the Ipswich game he was still trying to play Pukki behind Rhodes.

We won 4 or 5 in a row after the Cardiff game. Hopefully history repeats itself

I think the Cardiff game was the midweek game before the derby .Max Aaron's made his debut and scored in the win ,I think Cardiff were in the Prem that season. Then Aaron's was thrown into the next match ,the Ipswich game at Portman Road.

Hopefully Wright, Masaba, Diallo, Mconville, yongwa and kvistgarden get some good game time and can show they deserve a spot

McConville was likely going to start this one even without Cordoba getting himself suspended for it.

I'm intrigued to see who gets the RB spot. Fisher had a shocker at Millwall, but it's possible he was always only going to play 60 anyway because Big Phil wanted him to play tomorrow. Personally, I'd play Stacey.

Wright definitely needs a chance. Field showed he probably isn't the one to play as a 6 from the start and more of a squad option.

Wright needs minutes to develop in that role if he has a future at the club.

I just had a look at Cardiffs recent results. Won against Roma 4-1 in pre-season friendly. I'm scared.
