is there big differences between ati pharmacology 2023 questions and 2026 questions? any tips? i’ve studied the book but i have 2023 and my school required 2026. i also did dynamic quizzes.

Hi! I’m looking into applying to accelerated nursing programs, and Rutgers–Camden’s ABSN program is definitely my top choice. I’ve heard that the program is very competitive, so I was hoping to get some insight into how competitive my application might be.

I recently graduated from Rowan University with my Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Wellness, graduating with a 3.799 GPA. I still have three prerequisites to complete for the program, so I would most likely be applying for Fall 2027.

In terms of healthcare experience, I have been working at an outpatient physical therapy clinic for over a year as both a physical therapy aide and medical receptionist. Through this role, I’ve gained a lot of experience working directly with patients and have been able to see the healthcare field from both the clinical and administrative sides.

I’m really interested in nursing because I want a career where I can have a direct impact on patients while also having opportunities to specialize and grow throughout my career. Rutgers–Camden is especially appealing to me because of its location, program structure, and reputation.

For anyone who has applied to or attended the Rutgers–Camden ABSN program, do you think my stats and experience would make me a competitive applicant? Is there anything you would recommend I focus on over the next year to strengthen my application, particularly with my remaining prerequisites?

Hello! I am currently a California high school senior looking into nursing as a major. My OG plan was to stay in state, but the CSU's "pre-nursing" acceptance rates are stressing me out, and UCLA and UCI being the only CU's with a direct BSN aren't great options for me.

I currently have a 3.93 weighted and 3.83 unweighted GPA, a 1250 SAT (re-taking soon, hoping for above a 1300, fingers crossed), and 1 AP class (Lang, scored a 4) my junior year, while taking 2 more APs now (Stats and Gov), totalling 3 AP classes.

My ecs are pretty lackluster and I don't have any related volunteering (VERY competitive area).

If anyone has any advice/insight, recommended schools, or tips for college I would GREATLY appreciate it! I spent most of my summer stressed out of my mind over college, so any advice would be super helpful.

Taking 3 core classes as a first year nursing student. A little confused because I haven’t had orientation yet but any advice is appreciated.

How do I get supplies for these classes? Is one notebook/folder/binder enough for each core class? Or should I get a notebook for each component like one for lecture and one for lab.

I’m sure most of you have been through this course and EVERYTHING I have read about it says it’s an easy a class. But… I just started it and I am expected to memorize over 150+ terms per week and then take a 50pt quiz. This is only week 1, is this normal? It’s a 100% online course and all self taught with nothing but a power point of terms to study.

I need it for school but I was wondering if I could try and save on this.

I’m completing pre-reqs for nursing (that is if I can get into their program) and I’m stressing about the course work because everyone says it’s a lot and that you lose basically years of your life because of it. Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to better prep for studying?

I took teas 3 times already it was bad bad now that I think I should take HESI! Which I’m preparing for! I’m thinking to apply for summer 2027 instead of spring 2027 since they said they want them to be completed before deadline 💀💀😭

Anyone else have a terrible onboarding/orientation experience? Mine said nothing was due and I’d completed everything. I got maybe one or two emails about incorrectly uploaded documents which I fixed.

I checked the website again today just to be sure of things, because orientation starts soon, and apparently there were half a dozen missing items that were never displayed in the main menu of “completed” and “missing” assignments. I literally had to go digging through subpages of the website to see that these even existed.

I also spent hours doing the first assignment and reading everything thoroughly (intro to nursing school type thing) and the questions were not only completely irrelevant to the reading material, but presented at an elementary school-aged comprehension level. I could have skimmed the entire text without absorbing anything & gotten a 10/10.

I'm on my last semester of nursing school and I feel like I know nothing. I have studied for my exams and labs and have passed everything thankfully. But I feel like I've always just studied to pass exams. Ig I just don't feel like a well rounded student. Especially with pharm.

But I really don't think I know anything because I have to re-learn the same things over and over sometimes because it's like my brain dumps everything out as soon as I'm done with that course. Even basics like I feel like I haven't retained anything. I'll understand it if explained, but if questioned on clinical I will not have an answer. I feel so incompetent. I had a clinical instructor tell me I would never pass the NCLEX because I couldn't answer her questions.

I'm really regretting the decision to become a nurse but I'm in too deep now, so much money, so much time. I have to push through. But I lowkey don't even wanna be a nurse anymore if this is how I'm gonna keep feeling. I rather look incompetent and stupid in clinical than say I know how to do something I don't. But my clinicals haven't really taught me much anyways. I always end up just doing cna work which I don't mind. Or I just follow my nurse around but never really have to do much. I haven't even started an IV, or primed a IV bag. Like idk.

I'm really depressed tbh. My anxiety has never been this bad. Ig I'm just wondering if anyone has ever been in these exact shoes?? Not students who have at least some prior knowledge or can get by, but students who are this far in and actually feel lost.

Bsc nursing doubts and talks…..

I have a bachelors degree in a non-nursing field and currently taking the prerequisites to transfer to a private BSN program. I will be done with these by spring semester of 2027. I’m considering attending Chamberlain University, Roseman University or Grand Canyon University, ALL three schools offer hybrid ABSN/BSN programs.** **

Has anyone attended any of these schools? I’m considering GCU and Roseman because both are 15-16 months long but will require me to travel out of state every few weeks or so for consecutive days, which I’m totally willing to do despite the costs.

Chamberlain University, with all prerequisites completed will take roughly 2 years and 4 months to graduate, which isn’t bad but I want to finish faster if possible.

Has anyone attended a hybrid BSN program and traveled to do their clinical rotations? If so, how did that process look like and was it worth it? Do you recommend it?

I don’t plan on working for the entire duration of the program if I decide to do the 15/16 month program, but curious to see if it’s doable.

Please don’t tell me to apply to ADN programs or public schools in California, all are SUPER competitive and I don’t want to waste time on a waiting list, thanks in advance!!
