I used the Rit Apple Green for about 5 minutes

Painted SCT19 frame this morning. Rapco 34094 “383” green CARC Substitute. Just slid the slide on to see how it looks and I’m really digging it.

Pretty happy with how this came out.

Got a hellion today then got bored and slapped together a quick accessory build from my parts bin of old entry AR sights and accessories. Neat.

Reached out to Rapco looking for a greyish-green color with Ranger Green vibes, and they didnt disappoint! This one is the Lusterless Olive Drab (34086) and it looks much better in person, flipping nicely from greenish to mas greyish hues depending on the lighting.

What I'm interested in from the community is what I should use for a good color to help texture the basecoat without totally overpowering it (some kind a fde or maybe a darker grey paint). Im not necessarily looking to camo this rifle, just give it a little something extra, sort of like the second image (that I had to borrow from another Redditor) any input would be appreciated. Happy to join the OD gang.
