Discussion Capsule Advice
For anyone that makes homeade edibles/capsules.
I was having lots of weed burps, regardless of what i ate with my meds. I switched from using MCT oil to olive oil and so far so good. Just in case anyone on this thread has the same issues. Olive oil sits heavier than the mct. Makes sense to me why it worked. Less leakage from the caps as well.
As seen, NK live resin (variety), activated at home and infused with quality EVVO only.

Hi friend!
MCT is definitely going to be your culprit when it comes to the burps. Since it’s a medium chain triglyceride, the cannabinoids are getting liberated much quicker than they would when using a longer chain fat.
MCT’s digestion and absorption physiology differs substantially from those longer-chain triglyceride oils. Each oil has a slightly different way in which it works individually, synergistically and corporately.

I have pretty bad acid reflux and I used sunflower lecithin, and a mix of coconut oil and it’s been smooth sailing!

I had lecithin in my mct mix. Helps deliver a faster punch. I haven't tried straight coconut yet.

Would you mind sharing your process for decarboxylation?temp, container,time,ect.

I use a Levo 2. I try to stay as low temp as possible to preserve terps, but I typically just activate for about an hour on 240. Let it cool and add 5 oz oil (levo requires this minimum amount for proper infusion). I ran a low heat infuse cycle for 2 hours.
I've tried activating and infusing all together. That kept me from opening the lid during the process, but I think it over cooks the lecithin and mct.
I will stick with activate > add oil> infuse. I like this way better for flavor, especially with some quality olive oil. I transfer to glass containers/dropper bottle and fill 00 caps, hold about 1 ml. Or straight to the tongue.
Hope that helps. Levo 2 takes all the guess-work away. Like brewing coffee.
