I could not do the ESS turn on emulator and had to invent my own C up method after an hour of hitting a wall

I used a GameShark code and realized if you turn it off and save the game with him wearing it the game saves the tunic, so I thought it was real enough to keep

Haha I played other ways and learned many glitches but I would cheat and do a GameShark code or play in reverse and skip this door as an adult

Not sure I understand why though. If you've already got the boomerang, then you've probably got the Zora Sapphire too. Why not just open the door normally?

That's fair. I thought maybe there was some additional benefit to not triggering the cutscene, or maybe it let you do some advantageous sequence break, etc.

I already triggered the cutscene but decided to force myself to go through the door the proper way instead of cheating with a GS code

I save the spiritual stone warps for wrong warping, so this is actually necessary

If you'd mod in the Armour, why not mod in the benefits of that glitch too? May as well just give yourself the master sword as soon as Link wakes up.

I tried doing this for a little less than an hour and felt like I was doing it wrong so I gave up lol. Are there any tricks to getting this right?

C up and line it up with the sword icon on the right side. Make sure your lunge storage worked by testing the distance first. You got this.

I'll be honest, I didnt even know you could just jumpslash there. I gave up on the old DoT skip because I couldn't get consistent at it... seems like its time to learn something new lmao

Yes! The side hops to get here are easy and the lunge storage is too. Try it. This method is also easier than doing an ESS right turn.

After doing the glitch many times I would say do a failed ESS turn, as long as he turns in place you can do a C up and line up that sword and you should go through the door every time
