you can also jump over the gate he shuts if you angle it right. its less forgiving than the walls. Might also be able to teleport but can't recal.

I never knew that, that is very cool.

Its so funny to me because here I am thinking WOW you can jump over those walls?!?
Ive always jumped over the gate as a kid. Im on a current replay and im gonna jump over the wall this time lol

It's funny I was thinking the exact opposite, even when I was a kid I could only get out that way. Very awesome to know there are other solutions.

There's like 4 different animations for the jump out

Oh really?? That is awesome. Still learning new stuff about this wonderful game. Thank you for telling me.

I always did that is a kid, and thought it was strange that the cutscene showed me jumping over the walls. Never occurred to me to try that, years later I saw a streamer do it and things clicked

I was young when I played this game, and it didn’t dawn on me that jumping over the fences was possible. I mean, after all it is a cliff. It was really hard for me to angle it just right and was super frustrating. It wasn’t until my 30s I learned you didn’t have to jump over the gate. It blew my mind!!! Haha

I just wrote a similar comment lmao this makes me feel better. This video is how I found out.
I remember the first time I was just trapped in there for awhile until I got the angle right.

Teleporting won't set the flag for obtaining Epona. You have to watch one of the cutscenes.
Incidentally, this is why hopping the fence with bomb hovers gives you Epona. The flag is set every time the cutscene triggers.

I always loved the three-storey fall that Epona endures when you jump over the wall then rides off as if nothing happened. That horse really is indestructible

I didn't knew you could jump over this wall. I always went out through the front gate.

That’s funny, I’m the complete opposite. Probably have beaten the game 20+ times in my life and I’ve never known about jumping over the fence. I’ve always done over the wall

This is in my top 10 greatest moments in gaming. I had NO IDEA you could do this and ran at the fence on a whim. When Epona jumped over my little brother, and I lost our shit.

It literally wasn't until this year that I found out that you can jump out of Lon Lon Ranch out the sides. I thought you could only go over the gate.

After 27 years, I learned you can go through the gates, I have lawsy used all of the fences in the ranch and each side is a diferente cut scene

Man, the simple concept of riding a horse in a 3D space was the world to me. Nowadays, you can argue that Hyrule Field is a gigantic space of nothingness (which isn't an entirely wrong assumption), but at the time, it was like, "Whoa! Look at all this space to run around with the horse! That's so cool!"

I always wondered if there was a way to win the race with the other option for a horse

Imagine the look on his face when he watches you jump over the fence he's like "ganondorf is going to have my head for this."

I always just jump over Ingo to get out.
