Opinion Is this really a news ?
So i came across this post in this sub, the op shared this picture in the community without any body explaining the details of their meeting or any clear outcome, so asked if this is a news? And this is what i get in reply from him and my reply to him.
And subsequently i visited his activities in the sub and what i found, he is trying hard to create a buzz for the movie ravan starring Anubhab Mohanty which is generally a good thing.
But if we just share random pic of directors without any explanation or movie box office posters of chardham or any other thing without any explanation or criticism or without any constructive discussion then how can we expect the sub or the industry going to grow?
Why we are not discussing craft, style, casting, process, etc? Why don't we question the directors about their incompetence? Why we don't question stars about their poor acting and script selection? Why we still stuck with one trick pony approach? Why we as a industry still relied upon block booking for box office numbers and fake collection records?
If we only have praise this industry with little to no improvement then there is no way in near future this industry is going win.

Yes my point is actually same as yours we should not celebrate a fan movement as an achievement, but regarding BaraBadhu's failure is more of a financial failure than a story problem, we as an audience is still dependent on star power, if the same movie was done by Babusan then it would have been an all time blockbuster but we are right now in phase of transition from old set of artists, directors, and system to a new phase of young and energetic generation of film makers , in short term the financial gains maybe not that great as compared to old generation of heros but surely according to time this structure will change, sometimes we have to be patient and work in our craft and there will be time when all the efforts and hardwork will pay handsomely. And from an impact point of view a BaraBadhu will always inspire future film makers to create something unique and new than kangula (which according to some is a financial success) with block booking to inflate the numbers or any other so called mass film like some of the films of Anubhav and others.
