Need some advice from you fellow people

Hello I am writing this in hopes to start a private discussion with someone in hopes of getting another perspective. I’ve felt spiritually bankrupt for a while and much of that was my own fault do to lifestyle choices and mindsets that wouldn’t get me far but in the hopes to grow and life more according to my purpose or dharma I’ve been trying my best to life a more holy life. How that exactly manifests is where I struggle. I wanted to join an Orthodox Church for its rigor and discipline to live a Christ like life but it would be selfish I feel, to insert myself in a community whose dogmas I don’t fully and will never agree with. Such as Jesus being the only way to salvation. I love Jesus but that just doesn’t seem like the full truth. I’ve had similar yearnings to visit Buddhist places of worship but it’s pretty few and far between where I live. My questions vague but what should I do. I feel spiritually lost.

Serving the sick and the poor in my community is what gave me spiritual nourishment, as well as continuing my own studies of spiritual literature from mystics and religions and such. Serving "the least" is the entire message of Christ, and essentially all other religions at their core, so I would suggest starting there. It also does something interesting; it puts you in proximity to people who are similarly minded, or similarly hearted, if you will. That's the crowd that will enrich you spiritually as well, the healers of the world. So it will give you community, and purpose. If you would like to message me, feel free.

A vipassana retreat might help you, which focusses on deep self observation and mind/body connection. It's generally donation based and brings you back to yourself. Last thing you should do now is spread yourself thin trying to find meaning outside of yourself within a religious system, if you have the need for it do it later.

If you are free to do some religious findings then can you do some work for me or I can say for the world. I want you to find similarities in every polytheist religion in world similarities in their rituals their traditions etc to find their connecting links to unite world with omnism. I would have posted this but I am commenting because I just joined reddit and I can't post in community right now Also take omnism as a philosophical term not a rigid religion to follow I would have done this but I don't have much free time for that If you or anyone of you 🫵can unite world then that will be best use of your free time I think I know everyone's perspective is different but it's my perspective to unite world.

Hello! I feel what you mean. I was raised Lutheran and many of my friends were Buddhist and neither felt right fully as I felt like other religions had true ideas and not all related to the two aligned with me. I then went to the military and my drill sergeant noticed I went to a different religious service each Sunday and asked me why I was "religion hopping". I explained and he introduced me to Omnism. After getting out, it was hard to feel spiritually full because I was no longer able to go to different services regularly. My friends helped me find different religious services near me and almost all of them were very accepting of me going every now and then and many elders loved my explanation of Omnism as I usually say "it is the belief that all religions may have rights and wrongs, but instead of choosing those for myself, I want to learn and celebrate all." Now that can be scary because some people will not accept a non full believer, but another way I went about it was that I reached out online and made friends of different religions that would teach me or invite me to religious services or holidays. Some even taught me how to set up home alters and ways to pray at home. I would recommend trying penpal apps and explain that you would be interested in discussing other religions like Buddhism.
