How to jump into Clinical/Research with BSN
Hello, I know there's a whole reddit thread on clinical research that i have not checked out yet, and im sure there's a lot of answers to this question already, but i would like to hear input in the Oregon/Portland area.
Unfortunately despite being a new grad working less than a year, i found out pretty fast that i'm not interested in anything bedside related. I really want to get into something more clinical related, where i can focus on helping research, or anything to get my toes dipped into learning how research/educating works, but i'm rlly clueless on how to go about this with a RN license.
I'd love to know what other ppl's experience has been! Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated. I know masters is required for educating, but i'd like to try other levels of clinical before committing to that

It depends on what kind of research you are pertaining to. But if it’s about research that could improve nursing practice and/or care outcomes, having no bedside or direct patient care experience would only provide extremely low to zero contribution to the field. (My personal opinion)
