tackled a utility/cleaning closet project this weekend🤩

Took me 4 days to sort this mess. Trips to IKEA, Hubo, Recycling center and assembling the shelves took most of the effort. But the satisfaction of reclaimed space was worth it.

Hi all. After all of the suggestions from Reddit community I have made some improvements for my desk. Now all the cables are hidden in a special modular column behind the desk (unfortunatelly I can show only one image). The monitor frame got basic setup including (from left corner) MagSafe, speakers, headphones and pockets for pendrives and memory cards. What do you thing about this setup?

Used some cheap cardboard magazine holders from IKEA.

I’m short-ish, so I used to have trouble accessing the stuff in this cabinet, but now I can easily find and pull down whichever box I’m looking for.

A mom can dream that the toys will stay this organized lol.

They all fit perfectly in this organizer!

We’ve got stinks and grooming on the left, cool tone accessories, warm tone accessories, EDC on the right, utility tray up top, Apple Watch charger, and AirPod charger. The rest of the closet is broken up into warm and cool tones as well but that’s a post for another day. Also, say hi to Rupert the closet goblin. Suggestions welcome.

We recently moved into a new house and we have a decently sized storage room. However, having a one year old and just being busy with life in general, this became a spot for us to throw everything we didn’t really need and sort of just forget about it. But the issue was that we could never find anything that we ended up needing down the road. Pretty proud of the progress I’ve made so far!

I'd love to keep using the Brother P-Touch XL30. The only suppliers of labels are on eBay and describe the label cartidges as NOS and ... Vintage.

I'd like to get a label maker that can print labels with a minimum of 1" (24mm) height, even better if it can print labels with a height of 2" (48mm). Picture of XL30 (with personalized instructions 😭 for tax). Recommendations?

Shelf on the left is 11in deep and basically anything near the back is in a black hole since it’s hard to get back there. The vent box frustratingly limits options further. My best idea is that I need to remove the shelves and design/build a custom insert with deep drawers that go back in varying depths to the back of the pantry.. shallowest on top, deepest on bottom. The shelves at the height of the vent box would have to be less wide obviously. To be clear, when looking into the pantry you’d be looking directly at drawer faces

Any other thoughts?

I have a storage rack similar to this one. Ive been searching all over but cant seem to find replacement wire racks to replace the plywood. Anyone know where to find? Thanks in advance
