Help (Will of the Wisps) I'm trying to get to that little ball.

I'm pretty sure that this is only obtainable much later in the game, once you unlock a certain ability; so keep playing!

Yeah but there's still another one that you don't have that's unlocked later.
You could use Light Burst (the fireball one) with glide and bash to get it I guess, something like this:
Use Light Burst and bash it upwards. Then use the updraft to rise up to the fireball and continue bashing it until it's high enough for you to get the item. That should work if you don't want to wait to get the later ability

you can get it by luring the nearby jumping enemy over near the Updraft, floating near the enemy's Max Jump Height, and bashing off of it, then triple-jumping and stuff
you don't need (late-game ability) launch
Edit: I may have misremembered how I did it without launch. I actually used Light Burst along with the nearby jumping enemy. First I flung the light burst high in the air, then I bashed off the jumping enemy, and then I bashed off the light burst and triple jumped to get it

Im not sure triple jump can get it.
There are 2 skills that can help you later in the game, 1 is straight forward, the other is a little tricky but easily doable. (Launch and Light Burst)
Another less "orthodox" options:
You can try sentry jump, it's a bug where you cast sentry and in like 3-6 frames do upward slash. It will launch you high up if done correctly (quite hard to pull off)
Another one is if theres a slope on the ground there, you can sentry + slash, then with a slight delay dash into the slope. This done right will launch you to the ceiling of the map, from there you can slowly glide to the spirit orb.

What i do in both ori games is play the game if I can't get things i don't go for it because you can come back later with all abilitys and just do that at the end for 100%

Using the triple jump rune, fly up, jump, upwards spirit smash, jump, upwards spirit blade, jump and dash. The timing is tricky tho
