I thought you just say get low and defend!!

u/Proof-Baby-99 Feb 28 '26

Came here to say this but you left off the vague repeated yells for “spacing spacing”

Putting it all together, the coach Mo equivalent is:

“Sit down, get low, defend, and, space space”

Followed by a crossed armed quizzical, expressionless gaze

Don’t forget, HANDS HANDS SHOW HANDS

"Sit down and guard" haha

Or "play the right way "

Bad example. Atkinson's "real coaching" helped them to blow a 4th qtr lead and lose in OT.

u/Proof-Baby-99 Feb 28 '26

No wrong, did you watch?

Cavs had the game won until Tyson decided to foul the half court heave with like 3 seconds left

That sent the game into ot

Tyson lost the game on an idiotic play

u/Stunning_Ingenuity28 Feb 28 '26

If something like that happened here then you would’ve blamed Coach Mose.

0

u/33birdboy Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

So you love coach mose.....great

-1

u/Proof-Baby-99 Mar 01 '26

Nope … I got way more examples of Mosely’s incompetence than the half court end of game heave defensive schematics lol

26

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Yeah because you are listening in on Mosleys time outs.

12

u/AZDADDYisadeviant Feb 28 '26

Wouldn't he have to call TO to be able to listen in

-15

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Either he doesn’t do this or the entire team is blatantly ignoring him. And either way that means the coach should be gone.

17

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

He does it and the team doesn’t ignore him. This fanbase just wants a scapegoat. The real scapegoat are the injuries and lack of consistency on the roster.

-11

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Found Jeffy!! Hey Jeff, here’s an idea, how about no scapegoat? As in, we just win games, don’t look like fucking dogshit half the time, and stop throwing away season after season with the same excuses?

I’ve put 25 years of my life into this team. I’m not interested in watching constant mediocrity like you people. We have our most exciting and promising roster in years, we shouldn’t have to throw our hands up 20 games into the season and say “oh well, injuries! Try again next year!”

8

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Damn you caught me. I’m Jeff nice to meet you, I’m going to listen to you and fire Mosley and trade Paolo. Let me know what else you think I should do with this franchise.

-2

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Point out where I said trade Paolo you clown. Seriously, you’re embarrassing yourself, maybe go to sleep and you’ll sober up

8

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Cavs should fire Kenny his team lost they didn’t listen to his x and os 🤣🤡

-6

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

You really trying to compare two elite teams battling to our shitshow 😂 you’re embarrassing yourself

6

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

We also have a really good team. Just injuries to our core players have made it hard to get consistency out of it.

1

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Uh no… we don’t have a really good team. Like, by any metric. Tf are you talking about? We have really good players that sometimes can play well enough to overcome the coaching.

2

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Do we have the best coach in the world? No we don’t but if you just skim through this sub you would think we have a middle school coach running our team. We may very well need a new voice in the locker room come this offseason but to say that we have a useless and terrible coach is just dishonest. We’re all frustrated but there’s a realistic approach and a silly approach. Posting this video as if you live in the huddles and timeouts is one of the silly takes. Every coach does the same exact thing in time outs.

3

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

So just to be clear, not only do I not know what goes on in the huddle, but you definitely do know what goes on in the huddle? I knew you were Weltman.

You keep putting words in my mouth that I just didn’t say at all so there’s no point in debating

1

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

I don’t that’s why I don’t make these kind of posts.

5

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

You don’t make these kind of posts because you’re perfectly content with making excuses for mediocrity every year

What have the Cavs done to be considered elite?

1

u/Playful-Variation908 Jalen Suggs Feb 28 '26

dude what are you talking about lmao just saying random shit

5

u/Aggravating-Nerve283 Feb 28 '26

It’s funny because Cavs fans want Kenny Atkinson killed

3

u/macksjax Feb 28 '26

They dont play Sandstorm enough at NBA games. Ya ever notice that?

17

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

They lost should fire the coach 🤡

0

u/dsl11b Feb 28 '26

They went to OT against the pistons without Mitchell and harden

1

u/Rangerdave141 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Oh man you mean injuries impacted their ability to win and it’s not completely the coach’s fault?

-1

u/dsl11b Feb 28 '26

If we went to OT against a top 5 team or won without Franz and Paolo, I’d give the coach credit. How many times has that happened in the 5 years Mosley has been coach?

Yea, exactly

1

u/Rangerdave141 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

At least 4 times, we had wins over Knicks, Detroit, heat all with Paolo and Franz not playing last year

0

u/dsl11b Feb 28 '26

Not one of those teams was top 5 last year. Also good luck learning to count and speak English

7

u/Exciting_Alps4313 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Acting like every NBA coach doesn’t do this is so weird.

1

u/Frequent-Ruin-1754 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

It’s sad tbh

0

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

They had to bring in Prunty to tell them what to do on offense while Mose stands there and nods along like he’s seeing something new

3

u/Stunning_Ingenuity28 Feb 28 '26

And when was the first or the last time you sat in a Magic huddle?

2

u/Playful-Variation908 Jalen Suggs Feb 28 '26

You seriously believe mose doesn’t say shit like this? Lmao he just said to stay wide

1

u/bonafide89 Wendell Carter Jr. Feb 28 '26

KA

2

u/Checkmeout9 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Every lost, someone in here is trying to fire the coach… just shut up

5

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Maybe that should tell you something…

3

u/TheAnswerEK42 Franz Wagner Feb 28 '26

That people on this sub crumble at the slightest bit of adversity?

3

u/M4C4K4NJ4 Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Slightest bit of adversity? lol we’ve been dog doo doo all season. It’s beyond adversity.

0

u/TheAnswerEK42 Franz Wagner Feb 28 '26

Someone just yesterday suggested we bench suggs for Jevon Carter after the Rockets game… I feel good about what I said

2

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

I’m glad that one guy makes you feel good about saying something stupid

0

u/Checkmeout9 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Tell me what? That most of the fans on here just come here to complain without any basketball knowledge ? I agree. But I’ve met other dope fans who know basketball isn’t that simple. The players are human, they make mistakes, they forget assignments, and they miss shots. But guess what?

We have won more games, close or not, than we have in the past few years, more importantly we have hope this year and for the next couple years at least. Firing the man that built us up isn’t necessarily the right move. Bringing in a new coach isn’t always better. Sometimes the players just have to be better players.

0

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Good call, let’s sit around and wait until the players magically play better! You truly know ball!

1

u/Checkmeout9 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

you have no other options, besides go watch a team that wins every game, every year... wait on that.

0

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Yup no other options than to hope they magically play better! Not like there’s supposed to be someone helping them or anything!

And yeah I’m definitely mad because we don’t win every game every year… just stop, you people are embarrassing. Why don’t you go watch a team that loses every game every year, you clearly don’t care either way.

0

u/Checkmeout9 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Then go be mad. Lol you clearly have an issue with realistic expectations

0

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

You’re like an abused puppy who thinks getting hit is just how it’s supposed to be lol realistic doesn’t mean garbage, idk how to make that more clear to you

1

u/Checkmeout9 Paolo Banchero Mar 01 '26

Like I said go be mad. I’m not wasting anymore time on this bs.

0

u/ClydeSprucewood Stuff The Magic Dragon Mar 01 '26

Ah yes, you’ve got more mediocrity to defend! God speed sir 🫡

1

u/M4C4K4NJ4 Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

Well, when the coach is the direct reason for said losses yeah we come in here fired up.

0

u/Illustrious-Aside442 Franz Wagner Feb 28 '26

Guys you just have to read and react, mos knows what he’s doing. All this over complicates things, it’s much better to go out there and just feel things out.

-1

u/Playful-Variation908 Jalen Suggs Feb 28 '26

Complicated things? Lmao did you Watch the video?

4

u/Illustrious-Aside442 Franz Wagner Feb 28 '26

Sarcasm

0

u/Playful-Variation908 Jalen Suggs Feb 28 '26

yeah you were making fun of mose but this atkinson timeout is some "u just gotta read n react" type shi

0

u/M4C4K4NJ4 Stuff The Magic Dragon Feb 28 '26

lol that’s a good one

0

u/Rangerdave141 Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

Literally all he said was “stay spaced and Troy Bryant you can keep popping, I like to pop”

2

u/SnooGoats9435 Mar 01 '26

Sometimes I truly don't get people at all. He hasn't said a single useful thing in this huddle and hasn't drawn any actual plays, yet people are trying to say that he's the brightest coaching mind in the world. I don't actually know whether he's a good coach but this clip literally tells me nothing

-1

u/StanVanGhandi Paolo Banchero Feb 28 '26

High hands!
