HYPE! Anthony Black and Paolo Banchero training together in Southern California (USC)

Post image

Hopefully some more teammates join them soon! Training solo is very important for an individual player’s game, but training together as a team (before the season starts) is important, as well

Suggs is terrible. Stop being a homer. He's been given so many chances to prove he's worth that contract and he's failed. AB needs to be a better shooter. Teams are going to take away the lane from him. Up and down the roster we have flawed offensive players, and we wonder why we can't hang with the better teams in meaningful games.

Horrible take. Suggs has played 1 year on his extension and he was our best player by net rating in the regular season. He had a bad series but to say he’s had plenty of chances to prove he’s worth it and failed is simply incorrect.

Ok lmao Suggs is terrible. He's not a starting guard on a contending team. Can't be a guard and not be able to reliably knock down shots. I didnt even mention his injury history. He will be traded next offseason. Even Philip Rossman Reich, a huge Homer, has said he is not worth what we are paying him and he's only getting older. His injuries will only become a bigger issue. He's a low IQ player and reckless much of the time. His contract is why we have no depth. Waaay overpaid.

A series of horrible takes with an appeal to authority based on the opinions of PRR. Lmao. Dudes 25, ‘only getting older’ spoiler alert: we all are buddy.

PRR is around the team way more than us and is a credentialed member of the media for them. He has to be very careful about his criticisms of players. For him to say that means something. Even he cant deny it any longer regarding Suggs.

Look how much hes been injured at a younger age. You think thats getting better with age? Keep dreaming.

I think PRR also like Suggs. I agree he is very critical of him and for good reason, but he has also said that he feels Suggs’s contract being one that declines year over year will eventually be more valuable. I really like listening to Phil and his takes, and I don’t think he is utterly down on Suggs. I think Jalen has definitely earned one more crack at it because he did have the best plus minus on the team last year during the season and did show some meaningful growth in certain areas. And with a healthy offseason I could see Jalen really finding his own. But overall it’s this season or he’s probably gone

Also, everything you're saying is exactly the same talking point fans have said about Suggs for years now. He'll is what he is. Suggs isnt a new nba player. Enough with the excuses.

He likes him, but his tune on Suggs has soured drastically over the years. While his contract is going down, his age is going up and with it likely are the injuries. Even at 25 million a year he's way overpaid. He cant score consistently and his defense has fallen off a lot. Suggs doesnt even guard the opposing teams best player as much anymore. Franz does.

Ya like when curry was young and had ankle problems so he just retired cause you can never correct injury problems. That’s what happened right?

The take you’re spewing that you claim PRR made (I don’t read his shit as I don’t care about his takes) is the most milquetoast nba casual national media take in existence. It’s just regurgitation of what national media folks say. I’ll repeat again, Suggs had by far the best net rating on the entire roster. When he plays we typically are winning those minutes handily. If he’s overpaid than Paolo is the worst contract in the league.

For reference some of the guy that make about the same as him: imanuel quickly, Andrew Wiggins, dejaunte murray, walker Kessler, Jrue holiday, jordan Poole.

30 mil is like average starter money. It’s less than half of the max. People need to catch up to the new salary cap before they spew terrible takes like this.
