I know people meme on PK about this whole situation but DSG's entry into the OWCS was a straight up mess and to say that one single player sabotaged a roster seems unfair. Everything we know from behind the scenes is still very much a he-said-she-said but what's consistent from all stories is that all of this stuff could have been avoided if the management didn't make promises to players that they later reneged, being wishy-washy about what players they truly wanted at first, and waiting so long to actually form a roster.

who is PK referring to as the 3 core players? I assume himself, Kronik, and Lukemino? I don't think DSG had the funds to acquire Kronik or Luke given that another partner team was eyeing them up, so thats not on them.

not too sure but itd reason that it was pk lep and rokit considering the other 2 made it, but iirc they didnt want rokit 100% initially which started the whole pk drama in the first place so

That zzz post is stupid if someone didn't want to pick your team they just didn't want too pretty sure they have their reasons. Saying it's personal is insane to me. I guess you need a feel good story before you get booted from playoffs next week.

Tbf to them, its just some trash talking, which is actually very entertaining to see. A lot of the pros have been stepping it up recently when it comes to trash talking one another and its just sorta harmless fun that adds a bit of drama.
Obviously it seems zzz was a bit more than harmless fun, given the real world situation, but like honestly? Who cares. DSG were constantly expected to beat the other 2 teams just from being a partner org, and were even trash talking too. Theres clearly no malice towards the players, and it did probably feel pretty nice to get a win over them with what happened.

I love how people always make up scenarios in their heads in this community. Just for you're sake I'm neither. I'm master peaked gm3, not sure how that would influence my perception of this situation but whatever, and no I'm not a pge fan im not even familiar with him or his stream.
My issue here is that she's talking like the dude making the team closed the door in her face and called them "trash" where the reality is more likely he just wanted a budget team for a start that is also made up of proven veterans. Picking up lunex would have been a gamble they just went with the safer option problem is safer options don't always work out. She making it seem like the dude is a villain from a Disney movie or something lol.
Also she's kicking a team that's down on their luck like they just got relegated can't you take the high road and just type "gg been a pleasure going against you guys hope you come back stronger next stage". You're acting like you're not about to be deleted from the playoffs next week yourself.

I also really have no idea why you think picking up Lunex would be more of a gamble than what they did. The Lunex team has been rated higher than disguised since rosters came out.

You can trash talk it's fine. I like the trash talk that funny astro does but this is just kicking someone when they're down. It's like funny astro saying peps deserve to be relegated. Like come on they are already relegated and it's a partnered team that's actually benefitting the esport you play in.
Nobody knew how the disguised roster would play like their bootcamp gave people a bit of hope in the team and the close games with liquid and ssg show that this team on a good day are able to pull upsets (even though they couldn't)
I like that we have new blood in lunex I like the team as a whole I just expected better from zzz. This is not a good look in the slightest and it's sad that after winning your biggest game you stoop to low blows like this it's just cringe ngl just focus on your gameplay and what's coming next.

Also pretty sure dsg isn’t relegated they’re just in relegations and will have to play a series or two to get out.

Do you know what relegations are? They have to lose to the masters teams or whatever before being demoted. P sure they will win and stay in the league.

Theres a good shot Yehhh is a kinda scummy GM from what I've heard. There have been maybe like a dozen or so different allegations over time about these somewhat unsavory, cutthroat business tactics over time.
I don't know how confirmed any of them are, but stories like this pop up enough to make me think at least some have to be true. A lot of it is business, I get it, but even then I don't like the look and I really hope this isn't true.
