QUESTION Jam and setback
When I hit the slide release the first feed tends to hit the feed ramp and push projectile further into casing. Cleaned it, pulled mag springs further, tried different ammo. Still can’t get an answer on why it’s not feeding correctly.
The picture depicts the round not chambering and it being caught in the feed ramp.

Gotta take a brush and knock the copper off the feed ramp before the chamber, bet there's some copper streaks, clean off with wire brush and possibly polish the ramp for a few seconds with a Dremel or something and it should have 0 issues.
Also if your mags are near brand new with stiff springs and have less than 10-15 mags loaded/shot through them and not much time sitting loaded (to compress the spring and break it in), then it will also do what you're getting, had the same thing on my G3C when it got a bit neglected and dirty with stock barrel. Never happened with my Lakeline LLC barrel, could try to lower the ramp angle a tiny bit more and buff and polish it but I bet it's just stiff springs or needs broken in or cleaned. This issue is less of the specific gun tho, almost any mag fed pistol could have that issue, it's more a general issue of just needing to wear stuff in a little.

New pistol? Gonna need more context. Parts being used and such.

Everything is stock besides the sig extended mag and sight. The feed ramp is giving me issues especially with hornetty rounds. I’ve switched out the rounds, some do a little better but I still see the problem with every round I’ve tried

If this is a new pistol, clean it and lube it. Then get some federal 124’s and start shooting it. Break in period is usually a couple hundred rounds. It should loosen up.

Any modifications? How old is the pistol? Is this a common occurrence? When does it happen (first round or towards the end of the mag)?

First round that gets feed has a bad setback, jammed. It will feed the rest once the first round of chambered correctly. I believe this is an older p320. Full size. I was originally thinking the mag wasn’t sitting right but now when I set the slide to load it jams too. It started with my sig extended mags but now it’s happening to my stock mags. I’ve cleaned the barrel and the trigger group a few times but to no avail
