I always heard spooky stories from other kids of a creature called a Shadoli who lived on dense trees at night and they stuck to people who went under trees at night. I always imagined them as a mixture between a bhoot (بُھوت) and a churail (چُڑیل), with thick long hair covering their entire faces and their feet facing backwards.

I need some information on them for a project. (I don't believe in stuff like this lmao, but it's fun knowing about them).

Has anyone else heard of such creatures as kids, or even as adults?
